Blood Rune is a fantasy role-playing collectible card game of heroes in search of fame, fortune, love and honor, caught in a game of power played among the gods. 2-7 players are guided by a Game Master through a fantasy adventure that is quick to set up, easy to learn, and full of action.

History

Illuminated Entertainment is a global team of game and tech industry professionals united by one goal: to create bold and fresh new roleplaying experiences that are easy for new players to learn yet still delight savvy veterans for years. Founded in August 2020 by game industry veteran St. John Colon, Illuminated's team has decades of experience in their craft, and individual team members have contributed to titles from Activision, EA, and Paizo among others.

Blood Rune is Illuminated's flagship title. What began as a side project became a worldwide effort as the team saw the potential in a role-playing game designed to be rapid and flexible, allowing busy players to enjoy the thrill of a fantasy adventure within the length of a lunch break while offering a wide array of options for players to personalize their experience to any playstyle they prefer.
